I tried and failed for my son. I even had him titered before I let him have the vaccine (at age 4). I was invited to many pox parties as a kid, but I never got it (or no one ever noticed). My mom made me get the vaccine as a teenager when it came out. A coworker’s daughter got it while 5 months pregnant and the baby died; mom had me at the doctor the next week.

My dad was exposed to ALL the childhood diseases in Brasil before there were any vaccines, and never got anything (his sister got them instead).

SOO I would vote pox.
